HALLO LIEBE (in development)
13-year-old Luca accompanies her dad, stepmother and their son on holiday in a luxurious all-in resort on the Mediterranean. She wants nothing more than to fit in with the family and the perfect world of the hotel, but when her dad notices her beginning armpit hair, Luca's self-consciousness skyrockets exponentially. "She doesn't want to look like one of those hairy alternative German women, does she? " Her father jokes, as he offers his razor blade. That evening, Luca shaves her armpit and leg hair for the first time. More than ever, she is aware of her own body. Who knows what else is undesirable about it? While Luca tries to connect with just about everything around her, her daddy's voice keeps haunting her head. Who on earth are these "hairy alternative German women"? Suddenly, they not only come to life in her imagination, but also seem to walk around in the hotel, where nature silently makes its way.
A poetic, slightly absurd short film about adapting and fitting in.
About your own nature in a world full of constructions.

NOT A MORNING PERSON (in development)
Out of curiosity and a lack of routine in her own life, a young Brussels filmmaker decides to observe the routine of dawn in her own city. With a camera and tripod at hand (and a tie-pin microphone pinned to her chest), she sets out into the city between 5am and 7am. She wanders, watches, stands still, observes and captures a slice of time where the winding down of night and the dawn of day meet. What she finds is a daily routine in preparation for the day, an essential link in the maintenance and preservation of a system. Because what if all the actions that take place daily between 5am and 7am suddenly did not happen? Automatically, she becomes a player among the other players of an ever-lightening scene. Silhouettes fade, the day begins.

NOMAN
Two women travel in an Opel Corsa to a remote place to commit suicide. They end up in Noman, an abandoned afterlife of which they don’t speak the language. Jombat ukuwa. Together they fill the void, but what kind of afterlife do they need to invent to give life meaning? Noa wants “nothing”. Alma wants “together”. And together in nothing is not together? Noman is an experimental narrative film at the intersection of multiple disciplines. It is a film about imagination. About wanting to see what isn’t there and not wanting to see what is. About holding on and letting go.
An experimental short film, based on a theatre play by Anna Carlier

TOO FAR TOO CLOSE
Too Far, Too Close is a frame story, connecting the lives of a handful of city residents. A search for a lost cat sets the characters in motion, but their hunt between windows, doors, rooftops and walls is also a search for connection with their absent loved ones. In a time where we find each other more often there where our images meet and where our written words touch, distance feels more relative than ever. Too Far, Too Close draws life paths like chalk lines in a small drawing, while in memory they live at half a world's distance apart.
